The “Alfredo Brandolini” Museum of Natural Sciences is based in the “Palazzone”, a recently refurbished sixteenth century building in Sant’Alberto, formerly used for trade and hospitality.

The Brandolini museum includes an ornithological collection, representing all the species found between the Via Emilia Roman road and the sea and recently expanded with new sections, dealing with most of the natural sciences.

The Museum’s scientific objectives are reinforced by the inclusion of a specialist library, an egg collection, a record collection with recordings of the calls made by birds and other animals and a newspaper and periodical library.
