The exhibition traces the history of the agricultural revolution that began in Massa Lombarda in the 19th and 20th centuries, from the transformation of the land by reclamation, through the themes of farm consolidation, the family and rural society and covering the agricultural agreements and the social conflicts that took place at the turn of the 20th century.

A subsection is devoted to the main techniques used in the self-sufficiency economy. On the ground floor is a display of farm-working implements and objects from everyday life. The most interesting section, upstairs, is devoted to fruit-growing, including extensive visual and written material.
