Villa Morsiani is one of the most important historical houses in our region, built in the fifteenth century. It has always been the home of the Morsiani family.

The Counts Morsiani converted it to an aristocratic residence in the 1700s and the family chapel, inside the Villa, dates from then. The furniture, decor and furnishings date from the 15th to the 19th centuries and are evidence of the constant cultural, artistic and historical interests of the family, established in the mediaeval era. As many as 16 fireplaces of various periods adorn the interiors, including one from the 15th century and another that practically fills a room (the largest in the Region).

In the centuries old park surrounding Villa Morsiani there are several trees that are regarded as green monuments, including a 30 metre high oak and a 40 metre high black poplar; the many indigenous tree species and some gigantic ancient olive trees are of great botanical interest.
